We are seeking to hire a Full Time Ophthalmic Technician or Medical Assistant. This is a career opportunity to join a great practice that emphasizes quality patient care at all times. We are looking for a compassionate and caring individual who enjoys working with the elderly. Skills preferred but not required:

Patient work-ups (visual acuity, IOP, Hx), OCT testing, fundus photos, FA. Refracting skills are a PLUS! Must have the ability to multi-task in order to keep up with our busy pace and be eager to learn new skills. We offer great hours, no evenings or weekends! Travel between offices is required.

We are seeking an experienced front desk medical receptionist for our very busy retina practice. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a medical setting with a very good understanding of front desk operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven track record of exceptional attendance, demonstrated proficiency with computers, familiarity with EMR systems, strong organizational skills, and strong attention to detail and is able to multi-task. We look for someone who is willing to take direction and learn new tasks and contributes to a positive team atmosphere.

Duties include: check-in/out, scheduling appointments, referral management, insurance verification and authorizations, and electronic prep of charts.

Some travel between locations may be required.
